Daily Motivation – Be Amazing

Hello Monday! I always like to start the beginning of the week with motivation, and I hope that it inspires you all to do the same! This week focus on going outside the norm. You don’t realize how much you conform to society’s standards until you realize why you do things a certain way. So be different! And don’t try so hard to be normal because as Maya Angelou said “you will never know how amazing you can be.”

Think the Impossible

New year, new you right? Well how about we start thinking about the impossible. Change your mindset and go beyond what is realistic, and think instead of the impossible!

It might be scary at first but think of all the new ideas that may come out of it and the goals you could accomplish. Write them down (as always)

The more impossible the better!

Happy thinking!

Put Your Heart in Everything You Do

We love an inspirational moment here at the Write Nook, especially on Monday’s. Every now and then we all need to remind ourselves that we have it in us! To do whatever we want to do!

As you are reading this I urge you to share it with someone who might need to be reminded. I love creating these posts for you all because they become a great reminder to me. This is me showing my heart. I am slowly determining my fate with everything I do, and so are you.

So happy Monday! And remember no matter how big or small you are determining your fate with each action, so make them count!

Be Open to Feedback and Criticism

As a writer, it is important to be open to feedback and criticism. While it can be difficult to hear negative feedback about your work, it is an essential part of the writing process and can help you to improve your skills and grow as a writer. Improving your Writing Skills: One of the biggest…

Write about What you Know

Writing about what you know can be a powerful and rewarding experience for any writer. Improved authenticity: One of the biggest benefits of writing about what you know is that it can help to create a sense of authenticity in your work. By drawing on your own experiences and knowledge, you can create work that…

Set aside time for Self-Care as a Writer

Writing can be a demanding and emotionally draining process, and it is important to take breaks and recharge in order to avoid becoming overwhelmed and burnt out.  Avoid burnout! One of the biggest benefits of self-care for writers is that it can help to prevent burnout. Writing can be an intense and demanding process, and…

Stay Weird and Keep Writing!

The Merriam-Webster dictionary definition of weird is as follows: of strange or extraordinary character.

I could just stop the post there because who doesn’t want to be extraordinary. The words have been filling our ears and minds for as long as we can remember, but when does it truly start to resonate with yourself? Embrace your weird, strange, odd, and extraordinary attributes that make you who you are!

If someone says they will never read a book about a werewolf detective because it is weird…write it anyway! It could be the best story you have ever written. Continue to be yourself and lift other writers up as well!

Happy Writing! Stay Weird!

Discover What You Know

Take a minute and appreciate all that you have written. Be proud of it and remember that it all came from you!

Like a record that will keep on spinning, I will constantly remind you that writing is powerful in so many ways. It allows you to  discover and uncover your inner most thoughts, feelings, and ideas. In order to discover what you know, you can write! And just keep on writing. That is why we encourage you so often to write everyday- because you never know when you will return to that thought, feeling, or idea that will turn into something bigger!

Happy Writing!

Don’t Let Fear Keep You From Being A Writer

Some say it is good to be scared every now and then. It can push you towards your goals, and allows you to think from a different perspective. Now this doesn’t have to be jump-out-of your-skin kind of scared. It can be a personal vulnerability in your writing, such as being afraid to write something new or expressing a different opinion. However, in most cases that fear is holding you back. I encourage you to get out of your own head and do something that scares you! You only have one life to live, make sure you live it up to YOUR highest potential.
