It’s Never Too Late!

Close your eyes and think of the time when you really wanted to be something or do something..you might have even attempted it, but something got in your way. This is a friendly reminder that it is still achievable! You can still finish your book series that’s been saved on a file for 3 years, or finally quit your job to be a travel blogger!

The possibilities are endless and know that it is never too late! Even though Eat, Pray, Love didn’t get the best reviews the message is still there…go out and do it for YOU!

(And if you haven’t seen the movie it’s on Netflix)

Happy Monday!

All Deadlines Aren’t Bad

Here at The Write Nook we love to encourage you to make goals! They could be as small as “go to bed at 10pm” or as big as “finish my novel this month.” The key is to think of what you want and set a time for it! Deadlines aren’t always bad, especially when it comes to living out your best life.

Go Your Own Way

My hopes are that you have read the title and your mind has been filled with Fleetwood Mac. However, if that is not the case please listen to the song before you continue… just kidding, but it is a great song!

And like most songs it has a great line that you can use as motivation/inspiration in your everyday life. Go your own way…how wonderful. We are constantly told this in other manners such as be your own person, or live outside of the box, but for today’s sake we will say, “go your own way.”

So if there are any authors out there who do not want to write a character because they don’t think they will be popular enough, or if someone has even said you can’t be an author… I say, go your own way! Make your own path! Life is worth taking the risks.

Happy Monday!

Think the Impossible

New year, new you right? Well how about we start thinking about the impossible. Change your mindset and go beyond what is realistic, and think instead of the impossible!

It might be scary at first but think of all the new ideas that may come out of it and the goals you could accomplish. Write them down (as always)

The more impossible the better!

Happy thinking!

Spark Creativity!

Creativity: the use of imagination or original ideas.

Take risks, think in a way that’s outside the box! I wanted to look into how someone can spark more creativity in their life, and came across a very interesting article. 10 Psychological Tricks That Will Boost Your Creativity. In this article they discuss how you have to seek out things that inspire you, rather than waiting for something inspirational to happen.

I personally loved all of the tips mentioned, and will be sure to try and introduce them into my own life. Creativity is endless! We just have to find the right recipes for ourselves to keep our creativity flowing!

Put Your Heart in Everything You Do

We love an inspirational moment here at the Write Nook, especially on Monday’s. Every now and then we all need to remind ourselves that we have it in us! To do whatever we want to do!

As you are reading this I urge you to share it with someone who might need to be reminded. I love creating these posts for you all because they become a great reminder to me. This is me showing my heart. I am slowly determining my fate with everything I do, and so are you.

So happy Monday! And remember no matter how big or small you are determining your fate with each action, so make them count!

Be A Rainbow!

On Monday’s we like to provide you all with something a little more uplifting and motivating. What a better way to kick off the beginning of the week than with an inspiration quote or something to keep you going!

No matter where you are in the world, everyone can use some positivity!

Today our inspiration comes from the great Maya Angelow. “Be a rainbow in someone else’s cloud” When you see negativity, choose to be positive! Slowly start to incorporate these mantras into your life and see the outcome!

Choose to be a rainbow!

How To Get Out of Your Reading Rut

It happens to the best of us…we say we are going to read, read, read and then once life catches up to us or we aren’t feeling inspired the reading stops. And it may take a while to get back into the swing of things.

But don’t worry! Follow some of these tips to put you back in the reading mood!

  1. Listen to recommendations.

Sometimes things truly go in one ear and out the other, but try and listen to what your fellow readers have to say! Give one of their recommendations a shot, you might be pleasantly surprised.

  1. Pick up an old favorite.

Go back to a book you know you love to put you back into the mood. After you finish it you may be more eager to try something new.

  1. Celebrity reading lists.

If you have a favorite celebrity like Reese Witherspoon or Oprah take a look at their reading list. It could spark some inspiration!

  1. Judge a book by its cover.

I know. I know. But sometimes it’s necessary! Take a good stroll through the bookstore or browse a website and just see what catches your eye. You want to look for something that you know you will open!

  1. Try a new method.

If you have only picked up a paperback book, switch it up! Listen to an audiobook or try an ebook out and see if you like it better.

I get in my own rut from time to time, but I like to use these tips for myself to put me back in my reading game! Try them out and see if they work for you!

Happy Reading!

Set Goals That Excite You!

I don’t know about you but when I’m excited about anything I put my whole self into doing it. Almost to a point of obsession, I devote myself to that task. For example, bullet journaling. I told myself that I wanted to bullet journal so I made sure I had the perfect one and the prettiest markers and I was going to bullet journal every day!

It was something that I knew would make me happy and I was excited to start my day journaling. You need to find that goal. Something where you wake up and that is the first thing you want to try and accomplish for the day. It could be working out, listening to 30 minutes of an audiobook, or jotting down new book ideas. Basically anything that won’t give you the mentality of ‘oh, I’ll just do it later.”

Your goals are waiting to be reached! And we want to help you get there! Follow us for more Monday motivation on here, Instagram and Facebook!

Happy Monday!

Go With The Flow!

Our number one tip for all writers is…to write! Who would have thought! But in all seriousness the best thing for you to do is write no matter what. You are not being judged, and nothing is a bad idea. It is simply the best way to spread your ideas on the page and rummage through your own mind. And remember flow is flow!

Happy Writing!
