Your Morning Routine

Some say how you start the day can dictate how the rest of your day goes. If you are part of that “some” let’s dive into how to create the perfect morning routine.

Of course “perfect” is different for many, but our goal here is the same…start the day good so you can end the day good. Try and be as productive as you can to accomplish your daily tasks. My biggest mistake is waking up and immediately going on my phone and scrolling aimlessly, so I learned to start my days to set it up for success and these are some ways you can too!

Start the day will water not coffee!

That does not mean son’t have your delicious latte in the morning, but I learned if I hydrate my body as soon as I wake up I feel more alert, then I can have the latte.

Pick up your journal.

In the morning is when I find that peaceful moment to myself where I find time to journal. Whether you have a gratitude, daily, or dream journal now is the perfect time to get your brain flowing to start the day!

Exercise.

Just as how we have to get our minds going for the day, we have to do something for our bodies too. Each morning I try and do some stretching or walk before having to sit down for most of the day. I find it to be refreshing and a pro’active’ – (did you catch that pun) way to start the day!

Start small tomorrow morning and see where the day takes you!

    Can’t go wrong with reflection and exercise in the morning. No better way to start your days than by being mindful and energised. Of course, I do fall victim to needing coffee though, lol. Anyway, thanks for this post!
